ABSTRACT Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is the most important cause of morbidity and mortality in children, especially under 5 years of age. ARI can progress to pneumonia. The occurrence of pneumonia in children often coincides with the occurrence of an acute infectious process in the bronchi called bronchopneumonia. Bronchopneumonia is an inflammation of the walls of the bronchioles and the surrounding lung tissue. This study aims to study and understand in depth about nursing care for pediatric clients with bronchopneumonia. This research uses a case study method with a Nursing Care approach by taking one case as the unit of analysis. The unit of analysis was pediatric patients with bronchopneumonia. Methods of data collection through identification, interpretation and analysis of patient health data. Data collection techniques using literature study. Based on the data analysis, it was found similarities and gaps between theory and cases, nursing diagnoses found in child T were diagnoses based on the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards (INDS), planning and implementation were supported by supporting facilities and facilities, evaluation of child T after planning and During the 3 day implementation of the three diagnoses, one nursing diagnosis could be resolved properly and two diagnoses were partially resolved.
