Thalassemia is a genetic disease caused by disorders of red blood cells and generally affects children. In nursing care that the authors do, to collect data from patients, the authors use several methods/data collection techniques, namely the interview method, the physical examination method, the observation method and the documentation study method. The author carries out nursing care by applying the nursing process including assessment, nursing diagnoses, nursing interventions, nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. Based on data analysis, it was found that the patient had several nursing problems, namely ineffective peripheral perfusion related to a decrease in hemoglobin concentration, activity intolerance related to an imbalance in oxygen supply and demand and the risk of infection associated with secondary body defense inadequacy. After nursing care to the patient, then an increase in health status but nursing problems that arise in the patient have not been resolved. Keywords: Genetiks, Nursing Care Process, Thalassemia.
