ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Pola napas tidak efektif adalah inspirasi atau ekspirasi yang tidak memberi ventilasi yang adekuat. Salah satu penatalaksanaan pada diagnosa keperawatan pola napas tidak efektif adalah terapi oksigen. Terapi oksigen adalah memberikan tambahan oksigen untuk mencegah dan mengatasi kondisi kekurangan oksigen jaringan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran implementasi terapi oksigen pada pasien dengan pola napas tidak efektif di rumah sakit umum daerah Arjawinangun. Metode: Penelitian ini dibuat menggunakan metode studi kasus melalui proses asuhan keperawatan, metode penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif menggunakan subjek satu orang pasien dengan masalah pola napas tidak efektif. Hasil: Setelah dilakukannya tindakan keperawatan Terapi Oksigen pada Ny. T dengan Pola Napas Tidak Efektif maka pola napas membaik dengan kriteria hasil dispnea dari skala 1 (meningkat) menjadi skala 4 (cukup menurun), penggunaan otot bantu napas dari skala 2 (cukup meningkat) menjadi skala 4 (cukup menurun), pemanjangan fase ekspirasi dari skala 1 (menurun) menjadi skala 3 (sedang), dan frekuensi napas dari skala 1 (memburuk) menjadi skala 4 (cukup membaik). Kesimpulan: Perkembangan pola napas sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya tindakan selama kurang lebih 5x24 jam menunjukan adanya dampak positif pada pasien dengan pola napas tidak efektif. Kata kunci: Kebutuhan Oksigen, Pola Napas Tidak efektif, Terapi Oksigen ABSTRACT Background: Ineffective breathing patterns are inspiration or expiration that does not provide adequate ventilation. One of the treatments for nursing diagnoses of ineffective breathing patterns is oxygen therapy. Oxygen therapy is providing additional oxygen to prevent and overcome conditions of tissue oxygen deficiency. Objective: This study aims to determine the description of the implementation of oxygen therapy in patients with ineffective breathing patterns at the Arjawinangun regional general hospital. Method: This research was made using the case study method through the nursing care process, this research method is a descriptive analysis using the subject of one patient with the problem of ineffective breathing patterns. Results: After carrying out oxygen therapy nursing actions on Mrs. T with ineffective breathing patterns, the breathing pattern improved with the criteria for the results of dyspnea from scale 1 (increasing) to scale 4 (moderately decreasing), the use of breathing muscles from scale 2 (moderately increasing) to scale 4 (moderately decreasing), the lengthening of the expiratory phase from scale 1 (decreasing) to scale 3 (moderate), and the frequency of breathing from scale 1 (worsening) to scale 4 (moderately improving). Conclusion: The development of breathing patterns before and after action for approximately 5x24 hours shows a positive impact on patients with ineffective breathing patterns.
