Abstrak

The use of automatic control systems is often found in various machines in everyday life. This aims to make it easier for us to operate the machine. For this reason, the author conducted research on how to control the cabin temperature of a stick ice cream machine using the Arduino Uno ATMega328P microcontroller. This research is about how to control the cabin temperature of a stick ice cream machine. How to control the cabin temperature on a stick ice cream machine by designing an Arduino Uno ATMega328P as a microcontroller, a DS18B20 sensor as a temperature reader, a 1 channel relay as a compressor on/off switch, and supporting components such as LCD, breadboard, jumper cables, and 12v adapter. So the compressor can work automatically based on the specified temperature so that the temperature of the ice cream stick remains stable. The results of this research found that the compressor will turn off (off) when the cabin temperature reaches -9 °C and will turn on (on) again when the cabin temperature is -5 °C. The electric power consumption for a stick ice cream machine is IDR 1,102 for a day and IDR 28.091 for a month.
