PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN VARIASI HEATER TERHADAP KINERJA PADA HEAT PIPE

Abstrak
One of the heat sources that can affect the distribution of boiling temperature in the heat pipe which is located in the evaporator section. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of using heater variations on heat pipe performance. In this study, an elongated heat pipe was used from a copper pipe with a diameter of 9.5 mm as an evaporator and 9.5 mm as a condenser with a heat pipe length of 400 mm, inside the heat pipe there is glass wool as a wick which functions as an alternating flow of fluid from the condenser to the evaporator. . To measure the temperature of the heat pipe with a heat source using a heater, for Low (low) 55 watts, Medium (medium) 73 watts, High (high) 78 watts. From the research that has been done, it can be interpreted that a heat source (Q) which has a large heat source value can produce a large enough temperature difference, between the evaporation temperature and the condensation temperature, as well as a faster boiling time. This can occur due to the pressure difference in the evaporator section. and the condenser on the heat pipe.
