Abstrak
People's lives in this modern era are inseparable from the use of various kinds of electronic equipment. Electronic equipment in general will generate heat when operating. If used continuously for a long time it will produce quite a lot of heat. In order to maintain performance and avoid damage, the heat generated must be removed. To dissipate the heat, a heat dissipator is needed that is able to dissipate heat properly. One tool used to dissipate heat is a heat pipe or heat pipe. Several studies on heat pipes have been carried out to obtain increased thermal performance including by varying the fluid, condenser shape, fluid volume. The aim of this research is to determine the temperature achieved from the heat pipe performance. Materials, manufacturing of test equipment, testing (running test), data collection, analysis of experimental results, conclusion from the research that has been done it can be concluded that the performance of a straight heat pipe with a length of 400mm was tested for its performance with a test time of 3600s taking an average evaporator temperature value of 78.9oC and the average condenser temperature value of 31.9oC has a temperature difference of 47oC. heat release process in the condenser pipe with a heat flux value of 0.032W and a thermal resistance of 0.64oC/W.
