STUDI NUMERIK TURBIN ANGIN DARRIEUS TIPE H-ROTOR DENGAN VARIASI AIRFOIL NACA, JUMLAH SUDU, DAN DIAMETER TURBIN

Abstrak
With the increasing energy. demand, coal, natural gas, and petroleum are often used continuously as energy sources, which are not environmentally friendly and will eventually deplete due to their non-renewable nature. Wind becomes one of the alternative energy sources, and the Darrieus wind turbine, with its vertical design, can capture wind from all directions. The research aims to analyze the NACA airfoil variations, the number of blades, and blade diameter's impact on power coefficient and compare the results using SolidWorks and QBlade software. The method used in this study is a two-dimensional numerical study using qblade software and three dimensions using solidworks software. The best wind turbine obtained from the study has a height of 0.41667 meters and a turbine diameter of 0.5 meters, using 2 blades, 0.2 meters chord length, and NACA 6106 airfoil with SolidWorks software. The simulation with QBlade software resulted in a wind turbine with a height of 1.25 meters, a turbine diameter of 1.5 meters, 2 blades, 0.2 meters chord length, and NACA 6106 airfoil. The highest power coefficient was achieved with model A wind turbine, which had 2 blades and a value of 0.51095 at TSR 1.25 using SolidWorks software.
