Abstrak
Air Conditioner is a tool that has uses as air conditioning in a room, but in this study the use of a refrigeration machine is no longer a means of air conditioning for the refrigeration system for making ice cubes with salt water media. Ice cubes are complementary materials derived from water used in the refrigerator, freezing ice cubes through the process of cooling water below 0°C. Sehimhha research was compiled to find out the time and temperature to be achieved in an outdoor ice making machine, as well as the amperage and electric power during its use. This control system works at a temperature of -5ºC. Temperature Control System for Ice Cube Machine When the control system controls the ice cube machine, the on – off controller will regulate the temperature in the cabin. If the cabin temperature is below the predetermined set point, the compressor will turn OFF, and if the cabin temperature is above the predetermined set point. First turn on the unit and keep the compressor on. When the temperature is -6°C, the compressor turns off. Then the compressor starts again at -4°C. The power released by the machine is 721.6 VA and emits a current of 4.1 amperes for 3 hours for 10 kilograms of frozen ice cubes.
