Abstrak

Thermoelectric is an environmentally friendly cooling medium because it does not use refrigerant as a cooling fluid. In this study about blood coolbox delivery using a thermoelectric cooling system, where in this tool uses 1 thermoelectric element as a coolant with the help of an icepack to help cool coolbox blood delivery and uses batteries instead of electricity sources from PLN. The purpose of this study was to increase the temperature in the blood delivery coolbox to reach a temperature of 10 ° C with a load capacity of 250 ml of blood. Based on these problems, the authors did this, namely making a coolbox blood delivery cooling system using thermoelectric type TEC1-12706. From the test results of the tool using a blood load, before testing the initial temperature of 30.9 ° C after testing for 60 minutes the temperature with the load on the coolbox reached 8.0 ° C.
