Refrigerant comparison between R22 and R410A to get cooler temperatures is used to help the performance of the vapor compression cooling system which this time is applied to the ice maker machine type cooling system. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of using Refrigerant type R22 in ice cube making machines and also Refrigerant type R410A to determine the temperature comparison between Refrigerant type R22 and type 410A in ice maker machines. The results of the research that has been done, the performance of the actual COP value that uses refrigerant r410a is greater, namely 4,28 and that uses refrigerant r22, which is 3.34. Likewise with the COP Carnot value using r410a of 5,5 and using r22 of 4.15. For a comparison of the efficiency value when using r410a, which is 77%, while using r22, it is 80%, while the electric power consumption is the same as r410, which is 1.40 Kwh and when using r22, which is 1.40 Kwh.
