PERANCANGAN MESIN PIPA ROLL BENDING MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM LINEAR ACTUATOR ELECTRIC

Abstrak
There are still many Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the area around Indramayu that still use pipe roll bending machines manually, so it takes a long time to form a 1/2 inch pipe into a radius. Therefore, a pipe roll bending machine is needed that is faster for 1/2 inch pipe sizes and a design that follows the technological era where all work is done automatically. This study aims to produce a pipe roll bending machine design using a linear actuator electric system with the help of solidworks 2019 software. The design results obtained are with frame dimensions of length 556 x width 406 x height 1094 mm, the type of material used is ASTM A36, the drive source uses a motor electricity with a power of 0.5 HP and a rotation of 1450 rpm is then transmitted by the hub shaft to the gearbox with a ratio of 1:60 producing a rotation of 24.17 rpm and further transmitted by the sprocket and chain with a ratio of ½ resulting in a final rotation of 12.08 rpm. For the electric linear actuator used is a capacity of 900 N. The maximum capacity for rolling pipes is a pipe with a diameter of ½ inch with a thickness of < 1 mm.
