Nurses are one of the health workers in charge of caring for patients both sick and healthy. Nurses in carrying out nursing practice must be based on professional standards. The nursing professional organization PPNI has compiled 3 standard books, namely SDKI, SIKI, and SLKI. Nurses in using the three books require time, because they are required to find a nursing diagnosis in the SDKI book then re-open the SLKI and SIKI books for guidance on the output and implementation of nursing. Expert systems are one of the computer technologies that can help an expert in carrying out their duties. One of the methods of the expert system is forward chaining, using this method the expert system will work by reading the initial known facts to obtain new facts based on the rules stored in the knowledge base. In this study, an expert system was used to assist nurses in finding a patient's nursing diagnosis with the forward chaining method. The expert system form created is a web-based application that uses the Laravel and Vue.JS frameworks with PHP and Javascript programming languages. Based on the results of testing with experts, this expert system can search for a patient's nursing diagnosis with 100% accuracy
