Abstrak
Development of a refrigeration system by utilizing sea air as the basic
ingredient for making slurry ice for the purpose of cooling fresh fish. One of the
factors that affect cooling is motor speed, regulating motor speed on tools that
require motor rotation speed control. The purpose of the study was to find out how
the rotational speed of the electric motor on the ice slurry system using a pwm ac
motor, varying the rotation speed of the scrapper motor, the effect of the pwm
setting on the rotation speed of the scrapper motor and the results of the comparison
of graphs without load, with no-load control and with no-load control. load on the
ice slurry working system. The measurement variable used to determine the
performance of the ice slurry system is the rotation of the scrapper motor which is
regulated by a dimmer and measured by a tachometer. Based on the testing of the
equipment obtained without control without load the motor rotation speed can be
stable because there is no control system on the ice slurry machine and there is no
product or load on the cabin with the result of rpm speed of 884.1. Meanwhile,
when there is no-load control, the parameter variations are 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%,
50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%, with an average rpm of 231.2, 291,6, 368, 435,
507,8, 554.3, 642,4, 757,6, 843.6, 947.5, and when there is a control there is an
average rpm of 119.2, 145 ,6, 172.6, 199.6, 277.9, 315.8, 348.5, 375.5, 438.8, 563.6.
